Visual Communicator: Transferring Templates
November 22, 2006Video #4 – Transferring VC Templates >>> Play |
|
Description
This describes how to transfer Visual Communicator (VC) templates from one computer with VC installed to another in order to get many of our content contributors to have the same look to their studios and the same sound and look to their Intros and graphics and such in order to have the appearance that our friars are using the same studio when in fact they are dispersed across the globe. It also has a work around for an inherent difficulty in transferring projects in VC.
What is a template?
A project with standard graphics and music and “studio” for a series of shows that has no content recorded yet. It is a blank project from which new shows of a consistent look can be made.
Where it is located?

-
Standard directory that VC generates on install

What is the difficulty in transferring?Error on opening

Great websight and videos. They are inspiring. I was reviewing friartech to get an understanding of the tools used to create the site. You mention the use of Visual Communicator and Vlog It. These both appear to be products sold by Adobe. Adobe is a long-time contributer to Planned Parenthood. Are there any comparable/competing products that you have found?
